(Most of Depeche Mode's newer songs are too slow to me.Depeche Mode performing in 2006. To be honest they should have had Dave sing it. I think it's really clever but I don't like the way they handled Martin's vocals. I actually like The Sun and the Moon and the Stars. Introspectre reminds me of Minecraft lol. Reminds me of Violator and is really cool to me. Don't really care for Higher Love though.Įxciter is my least favorite album from them. One thing I have to complain about for Music For The Masses is that it tries to seem more grander than it actually is. They should have just removed it entirely or made it an instrumental. Personally don't like People Are People.īlack Day is super boring. Not really something to write home about. Pretty bad vibe and should have been replaced with Work Hard. Personally not a fan of Two Minute Warning. The lyrics to me are really clever and well-written. Should have been replaced with Now This Is Fun. That's the only 'bad' song from A Broken Frame. I think What's Your Name is the worst though. Personally I think it should have been edited a little more and put on A Broken Frame. I think Big Muff is pretty catchy but it doesn't have the good atmosphere like the others. There are definitely better songs than them. Spirit: Poorman - if you compared to the rest then its pretty funky.DM: Always - what a strange combination for a song tbh.SOTU: The Sun and the Moon and the Stars - mediocre martin song.PTA: Introspectre - man, you guys think that i really dislike instrumentals, but i think there are just better ones out there from dm.Exciter: Zensation - what a strange b-side.Ultra: / - sorry but i love everything on ultra :).SOFAD: Get right with me - hard to choose but the overall feel of this song is not as good as the rest.Violator: Sibeling - I myself like it, but in the end its pretty linear.MFTM: Pimpf - again its just another instrumental, i still dont get why this is the last song.BC: Black Day - it just seems so unfitting and weird.SGR: It Doesn't Matter - Its not a bad song in general but i had to pick something so yea.AFB: Monument - killer of ABFs atmosphere and bad lyrics.S&S: Big Muff - most simple and boring sounding instrumental.I also think that every album has a song that is completly weak (besides ultra for me ): I think all the remixes that are not officially made by the band are pretty weak imo. the instrumentation sounds like a bad demo and the lyrics are the weakest lines of text depeche mode has ever put out. I think ive never heard something THIS boring ever. Okay, to make this quick i would go with Monument from ABF. (before you read this, keep in my that this is my own opinion :-) )
